Justin Tomlinson MP & Andrew Percy MP visited the O2 arena as representatives of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Leisure.
The early morning visitwas a behind the sceneslook at how the arena has transformed the local area through a leisure offering.

We are seeing first hand in Swindon what a boost leisure offerings can be to the local economy and for residents enjoyment, As the former Lead Member for Leisure, Recreation & Culture on Swindon Borough CouncilI authorised for concerts to come to the Oasis Leisure Centre which have proved a huge success, both for tourism and for generating income.We now have the new Swindon MECA live music venue being constructed, a brilliant new facility for local residents."
